About This Activity

Eternal Classics is a tribute to the timeless masterpieces that have shaped the world of chamber music, showcasing works of profound beauty, emotion, and technical brilliance. The program opens with Beethoven’s Cello Sonata No. 3 in A major, a cornerstone of the repertoire that embodies both lyricism and grandeur through the expressive dialogue between piano and cello. Nino Rota’s Sonata for Violin and Piano follows, blending cinematic elegance with classical refinement, brought to life by the delicate interplay of violin and piano. The evening concludes with Rachmaninoff’s Trio élégiaque No. 1, a work of deep introspection and romantic intensity, where piano, violin, and cello unite to create a lush, evocative soundscape. Eternal Classics invites audiences on a journey through the pillars of chamber music, celebrating compositions that continue to inspire and resonate across generations.
