Open trials for anyone wanting to join Academy Season 3. Academy Trials are open to everyone, but we are specifically looking for - Beginner/Intermediate gymnasts born in 2018 - 20210. - Age 8+ current competitive WAG gymnasts looking for a new programme to join! The trial assessment will involve testing skills on all 4 pieces of equipment, as well as range and conditioning. There is nothing you gymnast needs to bring to the assessment or any thing to prepare. Academy acceptance email be sent in mid June, accepted gymnasts will begin an extended 3 week trial on the 7th of July. Joining our squads is a big commitment to both gymnasts and parents alike, both financially and time wise. Our Women's Artistic Gymnastics (WAG) Squads are members of IGA. Academy gymnasts are expected to compete in IGA competitions at least twice a year, entry to these competitions can be between £80-£90 per competitor. We have a mandatory kit for all Academy members including; competition & training leotard, warm up jacket & bag. The mandatory kit + gymnast insurance is £170.00, this must be purchased after the 3 week trial. Academy gymnasts also require gloves & loops (about £20.00) and chalk for classes.
