About This Activity
It’s right there in the name! Inspired by ideas from tween and teen campers, this camp blends the thrill of Dungeons & Dragons with real world wilderness skills. Use the natural world all around you as the material of your live action D&D quests. You’ll begin your adventure by choosing your own fantasy character, choosing a race, class, and background, and then you’ll set off into the woods on an epic quest with your adventuring party. Campers will work together, using their problem-solving and role-playing skills to decipher clues, face challenges, and battle foes—just like a real D&D campaign! Whether you're exploring the woods, navigating tricky terrain, or solving puzzles, every decision your party makes matters. When not facing down monsters or saving the realm, you can relax and enjoy classic outdoor camp activities like river time, carving, and spending quality time with new friends. It’s the perfect blend of imagination, adventure, and outdoor fun! There is an additional $12 material fee for this camp. Please note: Because of its location at the Northwest Youth Corps, no aftercare is available for this session
