About This Activity
Children in Nearby Nature's all outdoor preschool program enjoy nature discovery and adventure in our Learnscape Outdoor Classroom and in Alton Baker Park. Sensory exploration, cooperative activities, storytelling, garden discovery, earth art, nature science, and free time in our outdoor play spaces make every day both educational and fun. Through Wonder Keepers, young children develop a personal connection to the natural world, make new friends, and develop confidence through independent exploring. An application is required for new enrollments. See nearbynature.org/wonder-keepers for our priority registration policy. Your online registration will serve as your application. Once you have registered, we will contact you promptly to discuss whether or not our all-outdoor, all-weather program is a good match for your child. Use the code APPLY in the coupon code box at checkout and you will not be charged until enrollment is confirmed. Once we have confirmed your enrollment, full tuition for the season is due. If you are applying for a scholarship, no fee will be charged until we have confirmed your financial aid. Use the coupon code ECO in the coupon code box at checkout and you will not be charged until your scholarship is confirmed. Spring programs happen Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8:30 am-12:30 pm at our Learnscape Outdoor Classroom in Alton Baker Park, rain or shine, for children 3-5 years old. You may request to register your child for one, two, or three days a week (as space is available). Flexible drop off happens 8:30-9 am and flexible pick up happens 12-12:30 pm. (No program Monday May 27.) Note that enrollment is ongoing and we will prorate your final fees due according to when you join the group, as space is available.
