The Evans Recreation youth sports program is a recreational sports program aimed at providing a fun and safe environment for youth to participate in organized sports. Teams will be formed on a first-come, first-served basis. Requests are not guaranteed! K-2nd grade/5-8 year-old teams will practice once per week and 3rd-6th grade/9-12 year-old teams will practice twice each week in Evans. Games will be held on Saturdays. Practice days and times will be determined by coach and gym availability. A reversible blue and white Evans jersey is required. They can be purchased from the Recreation Front Desk for $20 if the child does not already have one.
3rd-4th grade Volleyball is played through the Northern Valley Athletic Association (NVAA) which includes the towns of Berthoud, Eaton, Evans, Fort Lupton, Keenesburg, Kersey, LaSalle, Platteville, and Wiggins. Games can be played at any of these sites during the season.Dates and programming may be subject to change.
Knee pads are recommended!
All season information and team communications will be done through TeamSideline. You should receive an email from TeamSideline no later than August 12th with information on how to access your account and view team information (including practice information) for the season. Practices will start the week of August 26th. The first game will be on September 7th.
