About This Activity
What is poetry? Why is it written? How can we understand it and make our own? In Poetics, we will explore the meaning, limits, and creation of poetry in a community environment. We will use tools ranging from straightforward conversation to multisensory exploration to demystify this oft-misunderstood art form. The course offers students a chance to explore new approaches each day, broadening their poetic skills and culminating in a celebratory reading of our original work.
