Art Class: Printmaking & Stamping Date: June 24 Time: 9:30AM - 11:00AM Location: Eyota Volunteer Ambulance Building (753 Robert Ave, Eyota, MN 55934) Grades: K-12 (*Preschool age students can register for these classes if an adult is able to attend as a chaperone*) Cost: $25/student (*No fee for adults who are attending with their preschool child*) Description: Kids will learn about printmaking, an artistic process of creating artworks by printing, transferring an image from a prepared surface to another surface. Legos and Gelli plates will be used to create prints. It allows artists to produce multiple, identical original prints, known as an edition. We will also create our own stamps, which is another form of printmaking. Final prints and the stamps you make will go home with you. Ink can be messy and stained, so please wear old clothes.
