Description
Foundations in Singing, ages 9-12Musical Theater!
Mondays, 5:30 - 6:30pmFebruary 24 - May 12, 2025 (10 weeks)Skip: Apr 14 & Apr 28
This class will introduce students to fun musical theater and contemporary repertoire while introducing fundamental singing techniques. Students will explore breathing techniques for breath support, vocal control, music reading, and elements of stagecraft. Students will be assigned individual and group song selections. Valuable performance and audition tips will also be introduced. The class will culminate with a final in-class performance of songs learned in the course.
Students are welcome to repeat the class. New repertoire will be introduced each session!
