Music Producer Camp: Mixing TechniquesJuly 22 - 26, 20249 am - 4 pm, Ages 12 - 17
Are you ready to take your mixing and production skills to the next level? This camp will introduce you to the artistic and technical skills needed to mix professional-sounding, release-ready music. Working in a state-of-the-art facility, we will learn how to shape a mix for emotional impact, how to make musical elements fit together, and how to tighten pitch and timing of recorded parts. We will learn how to use EQ, panning, automation, dynamics processors, and spatial effects to make your music shine. At the end of camp, we will present a listening party showcasing the tracks you have produced!
Online registration closes 2 business days before the first class, however space may still be available! Please email the office to check academy@gmu.edu. A $10 late fee may apply.
