AFYP INTRO TO TECHNICAL THEATER CAMPAugust 3 - 7, 20269:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Ages 11 - 15 (rising 6th - 10th grade)
Join us for our Intro to Technical Theater Camp for students interested in exploring the world behind the scenes! This camp's welcoming and creative environment is ideal for beginner students interested in technical theater. Throughout the week, students will learn about all the technical areas - set, costumes, props, lights, sounds, hair & makeup, and design concepts. Students will apply their learning in a hands-on way with daily projects to build their tech portfolio and bring valuable knowledge back to their school theater programs.
In addition to creative projects, students will participate in masterclasses led by professional designers and technicians and will have the chance to tour GMU’s working theater labs and professional stages.

Registration Deadline July 1. Tuition includes a $25 Materials Fee.
Online registration closes July 1. For registrations received after this date, a $10 late registration fee may apply.
