About This Activity
Description
In this two hour beginner pickleball clinic, basic rules, safety and etiquette, skills and correct technique will be taught and practiced. Basic skills include how to score and keep score, paddle management, footwork, forehand and backhand drives, serving and returning, dinking, lobs and volleying. Teaching approach is to describe, demonstrate and have participants practice while the instructor gives feedback. Participants will be playing doubles by the end of the session. This will take place indoors at the Fairview Recreation Complex. Paddles will be available to borrow.When: Monday June 16th 4:00pm - 6:00pmWhere: Fairview Recreation Complex - GymnasiumFee: $60.00
