About This Activity
Description
This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. As a volunteer you will assist the YMCA staff with maintaining a safe, structured, and fun program for Child Watch, Kids Club, and/or Camp participants.Tasks and activities may include:
- Cooking up fun for participants ages 6 to 12 yrs old
- Recipies and supplies will be provided, follow instructions
- Teach participants how to use basic kitchen gadgets, small appliances, practice measuring, blending, rolling, cutting and layering
- Assist the program staff in maintaining a clean and safe environment for children
