About This Activity
This camp will run Monday - Thursday from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm. Friday is reserved as a makeup date in case of rain or the temperature reaches over 100' degrees outside and 104' degrees on court. Depending on weather campers will have a 10 to 15 min break every 30 minutes or every hour. Please arrived at least an hour to 30 min before starting this will provide enough time for you to go over some mandatory forms such as summer camp health screening form, waiver of liability, and publicity release form. This camp does NOT include sports drinks, meals, or snacks so please make sure your child comes prepare and that includes: sunscreen, hat, NO cotton wear (Dri-fit is preferable), tennis shoes (if your child shows up in crocs, sandals or any other open toe foot wear they will be turned around), water bottle that keeps water cool, and any snacks you deem needed for a three hour long session. Popsicles will be offer to all kids at the end of every session so please let us know if your child has any allergies. Tennis Camp This camp is for all levels of tennis, we will make sure to divide the group by ages and levels if possible and accommodate all players to the right ball (red, orange, green, yellow) . We welcome beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels to these camps. Monday: Level Assessment, rules of tennis, how to keep up with the score, and fun group games Tuesday: Major groundstrokes technique: forehand, backhand, and serve and end with live play and single match play Wednesday: All about the net play (volleys, overhead) and more serve. Lear about doubles rules. Thursday: fun games where the player will be able to implement all learned in the last three days along with some fun college like team competition. (Singles and doubles play) Friday: (Make up day)
