About This Activity
Rock Lab is the perfect starting point for campers who are curious about music and want to try playing in a band—no prior experience required. Throughout the week, campers will explore a variety of instruments including guitar, bass, drums, keyboards, and vocals while learning the basics of how music works. Campers will experiment with simple rhythms, basic chords, and musical patterns while discovering how different instruments come together to create a full band sound. They’ll rotate through instruments, learn beginner-friendly parts of popular songs, and build confidence making music with their peers. This camp focuses on exploration, creativity, and teamwork, giving campers the chance to discover which instruments they enjoy most while learning how to jam together in a fun and supportive environment. The week will wrap up with a casual final day performance, where campers can share what they’ve learned with family and friends.
