About This Activity
Band Camp (Ages 12–15) Ready to turn up the volume? Band Camp is a hands-on rock experience where campers learn how to play and perform music together as a band. Throughout the week, campers will explore the fundamentals of rock music while jamming with their peers on instruments like guitar, bass, drums, keyboards, and vocals. Campers will learn basic chords, rhythms, song structure, and how to collaborate as a band. Along the way, they’ll experiment with improvisation, develop stage confidence, and discover what it takes to make music with others. No matter their experience level, campers will be encouraged to try new instruments, contribute ideas, and find their role in the band. The week will culminate in a live performance on the final day, where campers showcase the songs they’ve learned and created for family and friends. PRIOR EXPERIENCE APPRECIATED. This experience is for campers who have prior experience playing their musical instruments. We are selling seats by the instrument. We will navigate a waitlist if necessary. Only 15 seats are available.
