About This Activity
Description
Coding for Kids is a fun and hands-on course that uses an easy-to-learn online coding program. Students will design and create their own video games that can be played on a computer, tablet, or phone. Step by step, we will build a side-scrolling game similar to Super Mario Brothers. Along the way, students will get to use their creativity to design characters, enemies, collectibles, and the world their game takes place in. By the end of the course, they will have the skills they need to start building almost any kind of video game they can dream up!
