Description
Our Creative Movement and Pre-Ballet classes are excellent for young dancers to experience the structure of a dance class. Students will be introduced to basic ballet terminology as well as begin working on fine motor skills. These classes will incorporate traditional ballet class elements as well as fun props and games to help dancers learn their left from right, loud from soft, and much more.
Ballet attire: For female students please wear a pink leotard, pink tights and pink ballet slippers. For male students we suggest a white t-shirt, black pants, and black ballet shoes.
October 28 is Theme Week! Wear a costume to celebrate Halloween.
Picture Days (optional) are Jan 30 & Jan 31. An email will sent to participants parents with picture day signup information and payment options as the picture dates get closer.
Rehearsal/recital weekend is March 13 & 14. Both the rehearsal and recital are at Oregon High School Performing Arts Center. Exact times for the rehearsal and recital are TBA. The recital costume is included in the program fee.
Please note - a per person fee will be charged to attend the recital. Stay tuned for further details sent via email regarding information on purchasing recital tickets.
No class on November 25, December 23 & 30.
CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY: A full refund will be issued when a program is cancelled by the Recreation Department. Cancellations made after registering and prior to the start date of an activity will have a $5.00 administrative charge deducted from your refund. Refunds or credits will not be issued if you cancel out of an activity less than five working days from the activity start date. No refunds will be given once a class or program has started. Please note that online convenience fees are non-refundable.
