This class offers adults the opportunity to play with their children in a way that will delight the child and awaken his or her curiosity about music. Activities include singing, bouncing, rocking, finger plays, nursery rhymes, body awareness games, playful echoes, playing simple instruments, and dancing. Instructor Beth Marshall (Music Well, LLC) has over 22 years of experience working with children and families to express themselves and grow closer through the magic of music. Join in the fun!
This is an outdoor class, so please bring a blanket for your family to sit on. Come 15 minutes early to get settled...Stay 15 minutes after to gradually say good-bye and transition to your next activity.

ADDITIONAL REQUIRED MATERIALS Instrument kit - $20 Bring your own, or one can be purchased from the instructor for $20. Kit includes 1 pair of natural wood rhythm sticks, 1 rattle, and 1 cloth scarf - all in a cloth storage bag. Children/families who indicate on their registration they wish to purchase a kit should bring payment to the first class and will receive their instrument kit at that time. |

They are born with the ability to sing, to move rhythmically, and to express themselves musically! Likewise, children have an inborn love for the rhythm and rhymes captured in nursery rhymes.
