Description
Explore the science behind crime scene investigation in this hands-on STEM camp. Step inside the CSI lab and analyze fingerprints, test DNA, examine evidence, and use facial recognition technology to identify suspects. Campers will investigate a mock crime scene using real forensic techniques while discovering how biology, chemistry, and physics work together to solve cases. This engaging program builds critical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills in an exciting, high-interest setting.
Campers should bring a lunch, snack and water bottle.
Grade refers to upcoming academic year.
CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY: A full refund will be issued when a program is cancelled by the Recreation Department. Cancellations made after registering and prior to the start date of an activity will have a $5.00 administrative charge deducted from your refund. Refunds or credits will not be issued if you cancel out of an activity less than five working days from the activity start date. No refunds will be given once a class or program has started. Please note that online convenience fees are non-refundable.
