About This Activity
Description
This is a 3-day all skills volleyball development program. Participants will learn fundamentals of passing, defense, hitting, blocking and serving. Serve receive, defense positioning and digging will also covered. Instruction on proper hitting/blocking and setting technique, strategies and the mental aspects of being a better player will be emphasized.
The camper will have numerous opportunities to participate in practice drills and enjoyable skill-based games. Additionally, strength and cardio-vascular conditioning will be emphasized throughout the camp. The goal of this program is to increase the athlete's volleyball abilities, prepare them to compete at the next level, and instill fervor for the sport. Grade refers to the 26/27 school year.
CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY: A full refund will be issued when a program is cancelled by the Recreation Department. Cancellations made after registering and prior to the start date of an activity will have a $5.00 administrative charge deducted from your refund. Refunds or credits will not be issued if you cancel out of an activity less than five working days from the activity start date. No refunds will be given once a class or program has started. Please note that online convenience fees are non-refundable.
