About This Activity
Grade 1B Ballet is for students in 2nd Grade of Elementary School, or aged around 7. The class runs for 36 weeks (Aug. 24, 2026 - June 2, 2027). The Nutcracker Performances are December 4 & 5, 2026. The Spring Performances are June 5, 2027. The class will meet twice a week for a total of two hours: Monday 5:00-6:00pm (Studio B) Wednesday 5:00-6:00pm (Studio A). Students are required to bring a water bottle to class. PLEASE SEE THE ATTIRE GUIDE IN THE CONFIRMATION EMAIL FOR ATTIRE DETAILS. PLEASE NOTE: The results of the Grade 1 RAD Exam in Spring of 2026 are used to determine soloist positions of Clara and Fritz in the Fall 2027 Nutcracker Ballet. If your student is interested in being a soloist, they MUST take the Grade 1 RAD Exam this year. Please contact the office with any questions.
