About This Activity
Join Ms. Leticia for our Youth Jazz class! This class is intended for students going into RAD Intermediate - Adv. 2 (School Grades 8th - 12th). This class will meet on Fridays from 4:00-5:00pm in Studio A. The class runs for 20 weeks of class Jan. 15 - June 4, 2026. Enrollment in the Spring 2027 Jazz class includes participation in the Spring Performances on Saturday, May 15, 2027. Full of energy and set to popular, upbeat music, this class blends sharp technique with personal expression. We’ll build strength, rhythm, and control through stylized movement, modern choreography, and structured progressions in isolations, turns, leaps, and rhythmic drills while encouraging dancers to bring their own style to the floor. It’s an excellent addition to our repertoire, rounding out training and boosting versatility, confidence, and stage presence. Students are required to bring a water bottle.
