Join us for this basic breadmaking class that introduces the fundamentals of turning simple ingredients into fresh, homemade bread. You’ll learn how yeast works, how to mix and knead dough, and how to shape and bake a classic loaf with confidence. Perfect for beginners, the class focuses on hands-on practice and easy techniques you can repeat at home!This cooking class will be held on Saturday morning at the Boys and girls Club of Flagstaff. It will be taught by our incredible culinary instructor, Willa McAuliffe.
Culinary classes require pre-registration so that we will have enough ingredients for each student. Make sure to register online at least 3 days before the program starts. Our programs must meet minimum and maximum enrollment standards. If you are enrolled in a program that doesn't meet the minimum enrollment standard the program will be cancelled, and you will receive a full refund minus any non-refundable processing fees.
The cost for this program is $27
*There is a non-refundable credit card processing fee applied at check-out. Skip the processing fee by registering and paying with cash or a check at the Parks & Recreation Office, located at Fort Tuthill County Park.
Cancellation/Withdrawal Policy
Withdrawal-Withdrawals occurring 7 or more days prior to program start date - 100% refund minus the credit card processing fee (if applicable) and a $6.00 administrative processing fee (per withdrawal).-Withdrawals occurring between 3 and 6 days prior to program start date - 50% refund minus the credit card processing fee (if applicable) and a $6.00 administrative processing fee (per withdrawal).-Withdrawals initiated fewer than 3 days prior to program start date will not be issued a refund.Refunds will not be issued for missed days within a session (i.e. illnesses, vacations, etc.) and missed dates cannot be made up. Participants removed from programs due to disciplinary reasons will not receive a refund.CancellationPrograms must meet minimum and maximum enrollment standards.Programs are subject to cancellation by Coconino County Parks and Recreation due to things such as adverse weather, staffing issues, fire restrictions, low program enrollment, etc. Any participant enrolled in a program cancelled by Coconino County Parks and Recreation will be offered a full refund minus the non-refundable credit card processing fee if applicable).
TransfersTransferring from one program to another can be done for no additional fee if initiated 24 hours prior to the start time of program initially enrolled in. Transfers can only be made to existing programs offered on our website. If transferring to a program of greater cost than the program initially enrolled in participants must pay the difference at the time of the transfer.
