About This Activity
Pre-Primary Ballet is for students aged 5, or going into Kindergarten. This class consists of the Pre-Primary set of dance exercises designed by the Royal Academy of Dance for the creative exploration of the four elements of dance: body, space, time, and effort. Class meets once a week on Monday from 4:00-4:45pm in Studio B. The class rate is $16/h at 0.75 hours per week for 17 weeks of class (Jan. 13 - May 12, 2025). The Spring Performance is May 17. Feminine Attire: Choice of leotard; pink socks or tights; pink ballet shoes; no tuts (soft skirts ok). Masculine Attire: White t-shirt; dark shorts; white socks; white or black ballet shoes. All hair should be up in a bun with flyaways tucked, or slicked back with flyaways tucked. Students are encouraged to have a water bottle for class. Parents are welcome to stay in the lobby, as long as all family members are abiding by the lobby rules.
