About This Activity
Jump Start Sports' Multi-Sport Summer Camp will be held in the Community Recreation Center at Anthem Parkside at Merrill Ranch (3200 N. Anthem Way). This one week camp will utilize the indoor basketball court and the outside field (weather permitting). The camp is exclusive to families of the Anthem HOA with access to the community center. This camp will provide a positive, supportive environment for children ages 3-9 to participate in a variety of sports and activities. Our experienced coaches will lead the campers through drills, game scenarios, and game play to learn the fundamentals of a number of different sports. These include (but are not limited to) basketball, t-ball, soccer, track and field, and kickball. Our coaches will incorporate age/skill appropriate drills to build confidence, promote teamwork, and foster good sportsmanship. Campers are encouraged to bring a baseball glove. All other equipment and balls will be provided by Jump Start Sports. Please have your camper(s) wear a baseball cap. This will provide protection from the sun when outside and will be required to wear under a batting helmet when participating in t-ball. Please wear non-marking tennis shoes, cleats are not allowed. Campers are encouraged to bring a water bottle. Food and snacks are not allowed and will not be provided. Families are encouraged to make sure their camper(s) have eaten breakfast prior to arriving to camp.
