VEX IQ Competition Team – Flexible Weekend Training Our VEX IQ Competition Team offers weekend training on both Saturday and Sunday, with a flexible schedule designed to accommodate busy families while ensuring students receive enough hands-on practice to prepare for competition. We understand that students may want some downtime after a full week of school, so Saturday is our more flexible training day. Our team currently gathers from approximately 1:00 PM–4:00 PM on Saturday, but training times may be adjusted based on participating families’ schedules. Sunday is our primary and more structured training day, currently running approximately 9:00 AM–2:00 PM. Lunch is included on Sundays. Each student is expected to complete at least 6 hours of team training per week. Families may coordinate their Saturday and Sunday attendance with us, and we will do our best to accommodate parents’ schedules while maintaining the training hours needed for the team. Students will receive hands-on training in robot design and building, coding, driving skills, engineering problem-solving, teamwork, strategy, and VEX IQ competition preparation. Schedule & Fees Saturday: Flexible schedule; currently approximately 1:00–4:00 PM Sunday: Approximately 9:00 AM–2:00 PM Weekly Training: Minimum 6 hours per student Sunday Lunch: Included Competition Registration Fee: Additional $50 per student, per competition Training schedules may be adjusted based on family schedules and team needs.
