About This Activity
LIGHTS. CAMERA. ACTION! ACTORCRAFT P2S is looking for 36 young filmmakers, ages 8–18, to join us for another summer of movie-making magic! With TWO sessions offered again this year, there's twice the opportunity to get creative! During this action-packed, one-week camp, students will adapt an award-winning novel into original short films, developing their skills in screenwriting, film production, and on-camera acting. They'll collaborate in production teams, develop their scripts, and bring their stories to life on a real movie set! The adventure culminates in an opportunity for their films to be screened at the Newbery Film Festival, held right here in Gig Harbor! Two sessions. Endless possibilities. Sign up for one or BOTH!
