December 6st, 2026 | 2:00 pm - 4:30 pmCelebrate the season with Deck the Howls, a special holiday event for children ages 4–12 at Williamson County Animal Center!
Children are invited to come dressed in their favorite cozy pajamas and share holiday stories with adoptable pets. Reading to animals gives children a fun, non-judgmental way to practice their reading skills while also building empathy and learning how to make compassionate, responsible choices when interacting with animals.
The holiday fun doesn’t stop there! With help from our community partners, children will also have opportunities to create crafts, play games, bring a favorite stuffed animal or teddy bear to our clinic for a little “stitching up” by the professionals, and even take photos with a shelter pet and the big man himself—Santa!
Cost: $25 per child (guardians are free, but must remain with the child at all times) Proceeds benefit Williamson County Animal Center.
Space is limited, and Deck the Howls sells out each year, so pre-registration is required. Reserve your child’s spot online today!
