Note: This is registration for CAST for Once Upon a Mattress using the Payment Plan, with this being payment 2 of 2.For the fall of 2025, the Star Bright Players will produce Once Upon a Mattress, the beloved musical comedy. Many moons ago in a far-off place, Queen Aggravain decreed no couples could marry until her son, Prince Dauntless, found a bride. Princesses came from far and wide to win the hand of the prince, but none could pass the impossible tests given to them by the Queen. That is, until the “shy” swamp princess, Winnifred the Woebegone, showed up. Would she be able to pass the Sensitivity Test, marry her prince and help Lady Larken and Sir Harry to the altar? Carried on a wave of wonderful songs, by turns hilarious and raucous, romantic and melodic, this rollicking spin on the classic tale The Princess and the Pea provides some side-splitting shenanigans. For after all, a princess is a delicate thing.
Rehearsals will be Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 5:30-8:30pm at the Enrichment Center in Franklin, starting Wednesday, September 17 (starting with a mandatory cast/crew/parent meeting). There will be 3 Saturday rehearsals (12-5pm) at the Franklin Rec Center on September 20, October 18, and November 15. (There will be no rehearsals October 7-8, November 11, or November 25-26.)
Four performances will be December 12-14, 2025 at the Williamson County Performing Arts Center.
