NOTE: You are registering for the Monday night STAR Program class at the Franklin Rec Center in Franklin.For the spring of 2025, the STAR Program classes will offer Disney’s 101 Dalmatians KIDS. Based on the classic animated film, Disney's 101 Dalmatians KIDS is a fur-raising adventure featuring Cruella De Vil, Disney's most outrageous villain, and 101 of the most adorable heroes to set their paws onstage. With a high-spirited score and lovable characters, this stage adaptation is certain to charm and delight all audiences. Pet owners, Roger and Anita, live happily in London with their Dalmatians, Pongo and Perdita, stalwart dogs devoted to raising their puppies. Everything is quiet until Anita's former classmate, the monstrous Cruella De Vil, plots to steal the puppies for her new fur coat. The Dalmatians rally all the dogs of London for a daring rescue of the puppies from Cruella and her bumbling henchmen.
Please note: These classes are a commitment. Please make sure that you and your child are committed to attendance (unless sick) at all rehearsals, super Saturday, Tech/Dress rehearsal, and both performances.
Franklin Rec Center Class:• Regular Class Time/Day: Mondays 5:30-8:00pm• Classes begin on January 5, 2026.• Class does not meet on January 19, February 16, or March 9.• Super Saturday, March 21 (at FRC):o Cast Party – 9:00-9:30amo Rehearsal – 9:30-11:30am • Tech Week Rehearsal: Monday, March 23 (4:30-9pm)• Performances: Friday, March 27 at 6:30pm and Saturday, March 28 at 1:30pm
Performances and Tech/Show Week Rehearsals for all classes will be at the Williamson County Performing Arts Center (PAC) in Franklin.There is an additional $25 supply fee that should be paid directly to the instructor at the first class meeting. There is a $25 sibling discount (after first child) if siblings register in the same transaction. Participants may purchase the optional show shirt for $10 at registration.
Participants should bring a labeled water bottle to class and are welcome to bring a non-messy, nut-free snack each week.
Disney’s 101 Dalmatians KIDS is presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International (MTI). All authorized performance materials are also supplied by MTI. www.mtishows.com
Refund/credit/transfers must be processed through Alison Worden (alison.worden@williamsoncounty-tn.gov) a minimum of 48 hours prior to the first class session.
