Note: This is registration for CREW for Fantastic Mr. FoxFor the summer of 2026, Straight to the Stars Jr. will produce our first straight play for actors 10-14. Roald Dahl’s much-loved story, Fantastic Mr. Fox, adapted for the stage by David Wood, follows the vain efforts of three farmers, Boggis, Bunce and Bean (one fat, one short, one lean), to get rid of the fox who regularly steals food from their farms. Despite their efforts to kill the fox by any means possible, the hapless farmers are outwitted at every turn. Ultimately, Fantastic Mr. Fox devises a plan to ensure full stomachs for his family and friends, all of whom celebrate with a sumptuous feast.
Rehearsals will be Mondays and Wednesdays starting May 6, then Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays starting May 26, from 5:15-7:45pm at the Williamson County Enrichment Center. The first rehearsal on Wednesday May 6 will include a parent meeting. There will also be 2 Saturday afternoon rehearsals (1-4:30pm) on May 16 and June 13. Tech week rehearsals will be June 22-25 in the evenings at the Williamson County Performing Arts Center. (The crew becomes active the last 2 weeks of rehearsal and tech/show week, but may be asked to come earlier.)
There will be 3 performances June 26 and 27, 2026 at the Williamson County Performing Arts Center as follows:• Friday, June 26 at 7pm• Saturday, June 27 at 3pm and 7pm
Note: There is an optional show t-shirt that can be purchased for $10. You must select the additional t-shirt fee and also select the applicable shirt size during registration.
