About This Activity
Description
If your child is ready to learn skills needed to be confident, prepared, and excited for school, but isn't ready for an all day preschool, then this is the perfect opportunity. Each week we will have a theme to help guide class practice, play, and learning. With reading, writing, vocabulary, mathematical concepts, and hands-on activities... little ones will have fun seeing what school is all about! We will create with paints, clay, chalk, pastels, sculpture and much more. Each class will be filled with opportunities to develop fine motor skills and social skills while practicing cooperation and collaboration. A snack will be provided, but you may send a water bottle with your child’s name on it.
Location: Franklin Recreation Center in the Craft Room to the left of check in desk.
Instructor: Brittany Whipple, M.Ed., Vanderbilt University and MTSU, former math teacher with Williamson County Schools, and mom to 3 children.
*Children must be potty-trained, and these are drop-off classes.
*Pre-Registration is required.
Monthly supply fee of $20 to be paid to instructor on first day of class cash or Venmo: @brittany-whipple-5
