NOTE: You are registering for the Monday night STAR Program class at the Franklin Rec Center in Franklin.For the fall of 2025, the STAR Program classes will offer Annie Kids. Based on the popular comic strip and adapted from the Tony Award-winning Best Musical, with a beloved book and Tony Award-winning score, Annie KIDS features everyone’s favorite little redhead in her very first adventure. With equal measures of pluck and positivity, little orphan Annie charms everyone's hearts despite a next-to-nothing start in 1930s New York City. Annie is determined to find the parents who abandoned her years ago on the doorstep of an orphanage run by the cruel Miss Hannigan. Annie eventually foils Miss Hannigan's evil machinations, finding a new home and family in billionaire, Oliver Warbucks, his personal secretary, Grace Farrell, and a lovable mutt named Sandy.
Please note: These classes are a commitment. Please make sure that you and your child are committed to attendance (unless sick) at rehearsals, super Saturday, Tech/Dress rehearsal, and both performances. In addition to the regular weekly classes, the Franklin cast has these important dates:• Super Saturday, November 1 (at FRC):o Cast Party – 9:00-9:30amo Rehearsal – 9:30-11:30am • Tech Week Rehearsal (at PAC): Monday, November 3 (4:30-9pm)• Performances (at PAC): Friday, November 7 at 5:30pm and 7:30pm (Call time: 4:30pm)
The first class will extend 30 minutes beyond the normal class time. Class will not meet September 1 or October 6, 2025.
There is an additional $25 supply fee that should be paid directly to the instructor at the first class meeting. There is a $25 sibling discount (after first child) if siblings register in the same transaction. There is an optional $10 show t-shirt fee at registration.
Annie Kids is presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International (MTI). All authorized performance materials are also supplied by MTI. www.mtishows.com
Refund/credit/transfers must be processed through Alison Worden (alison.worden@williamsoncounty-tn.gov) a minimum of 48 hours prior to the first class session.
