About This Activity
Description
Jump into outdoor adventure this summer! Enjoy traditional field games and arts and crafts alongside practicing archery, cooling off in the Monocacy River, learning survival skills, playing outdoor games, exploring the forest and building leadership skills! Dress for the weather as we will spend most of our time outside. Bring a water bottle, sunscreen, bug spray, and non-perishable lunch every day. Weekly schedules and activities may be adjusted based on weather. A welcome email with full details will be sent out prior to the start of the program.CAMP INFORMATION
Lunch:
Campers need to bring their own lunch and beverage to camp every day. Refrigeration is not available. Small coolers and ice packs are highly recommended.
Dress:
Campers are encouraged to dress comfortably in old clothing and sneakers. Please do not send campers to camp in open-toed shoes or sandals.
Sunscreen:
Please apply sunscreen to your child daily. We ask that you also send sunscreen with your camper each day. Counselors will remind campers that they should apply sunscreen periodically throughout the day to avoid sunburn.
Health Forms:
It is imperative that your child's Camp Health Form and Medication Form (if needed) be completed prior to the start of camp. Please complete these form(s) and bring them with you on the first day of camp. These form(s) can be downloaded at www.recreater.com
Personal Belongings:
Clearly mark all personal belongings (sunscreen, towels, lunches, backpacks, etc.) with the camper's first and last name. Please do not send valuables along with your child, including video games, Nintendos, and Tablets. The camp is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
First Day Newsletter:
On the first day of each camp session, your child will receive a newsletter containing specific information regarding daily activities for that week of camp. Please refer to the newsletter before coming to camp each day.
Camp Deposits:
A $25 non-refundable deposit per camper, per week will hold your child's space in the camps. Balance of registration fees must be paid-in-full by 4 pm, Friday, May 30.
