About This Activity
Description
Hike to Maryland’s largest cascading waterfall on a 3.5-mile loop through the Catoctin Mountains. Teens ages 13-17 will explore forest ecology, mountain geology, and wildlife signs along the trail.
Please meet at the Walkersville Recreation Center; transportation to and from the hike is included.
Bring a packed lunch, snacks, and water. Wear sturdy shoes and dress for the weather.
Secondary pickup and drop off location: Thurmont Recreation Center.
