Calling all crafters young and old to create art on the farm. This program features an interactive embroidery demonstration focus on the history of sewing in 1800s, Civil War era embroidery, and how soldiers would carry portable housewife sewing kits to repair uniforms. Guests can take part in one of two available sessions to learn basic stitches, how to sew a button and button hole and how to put together a sewing sampler for future use.
