About This Activity
Description
This co-ed youth soccer league meets two days per week and is designed to support player development at all skill levels. Participants attend one 1-hour weekday practice and one 1-hour weekend game, primarily held on Saturdays between 9:00 am–6:00 pm. The season runs from April 11–June 13. Practices begin the week of March 30 and take place on a week night at the team’s home park. Participants must select a preferred practice location during registration. Practice sites include Old National Pike Park, Othello Regional Park, Urbana District Park, and Utica District Park. The league is open to beginner players learning fundamental soccer skills as well as more advanced players looking to build on existing experience. Team uniforms are provided. Players must supply shin guards and tennis shoes; cleats are optional but must be non-metal. Parent/Coach volunteers are essential to the success of this league. Volunteer coaches who complete the season will receive a registration discount. Individuals interested in coaching should contact David Milord at dmilord@frederickcountymd.gov. $84 per player by 2/11; After 2/11- $104 per player. Final registration deadline - 2/25.
Games will be played at other locations. Be sure to check the league schedule once it is released.
