Description
This co-ed soccer league is open to students currently enrolled in high school. Participants should plan for a two-day-per-week commitment, which includes one one-hour weekday practice and one Friday night game. Games are held on Fridays from 6:00-10:00pm between April 10 – June 12. Practices begin the week of March 30 and take place on a week night at the team’s home park. Participants must select a preferred practice location during registration. Practice locations include Old National Pike Park, Utica District Park, and Urbana District Park. Games are approximately one hour long and are officiated by licensed referees. Games will be played 11v11 when participation numbers allow, and all games will take place at Ballenger Creek Park. Numbered team jerseys, shorts, and socks are provided. Shin guards are required. Cleats are recommended but not required. Parent/Coach volunteers are essential to the success of this league and will receive a registration discount upon completion of the season. Those interested in volunteering should contact David Milord at dmilord@frederickcountymd.gov. $94 per player by 2/11; After 2/11 - $114 per player. Final registration deadline- February 25th.
Games will be played at other locations. Be sure to check the league schedule once it is released.
