In this class students will be introduced to basic 2D and 3D animation techniques using Minecraft characters and environments. Kids will expand their observation skills and imagination by studying motion in reality and learning how to translate it into realistic animation. Students will learn how animators work by creating one or more short animation projects while applying basic acting theories and animation principles to scenes they create. Ages 6-9 will focus on fundamentals to create a short simple animation. Ages 10-14 will learn about more advanced features to create greater realism in projects with a larger scope. No prior experience required for either group.Activity Secondary Category
