Blast off into the world of rocketry in this 8 week hands on class, students will explore the science of flight, aerodynamics, and propulsion while designing, building, and launching model rockets. Each week features engaging activities, from paper rockets and balloon powered designs to advanced model rocket construction. Students will develop problem solving skills, learn about Newtons Laws and Motion and apply stem concepts in exciting, creative ways. The program will culminate in a launch day where students test their rockets and celebrate their achievements! At the end of the class students will have a portfolio to show evidence of learning.
