In this class, students build on their programming skills as they create the first part of the classic Flappy Bird game and develop their own platformer game. Students learn the differences between Object-Oriented and Procedural Programming, use procedures to organize their code, and practice version control to keep their projects functioning smoothly. They also explore Scratch’s Text-to-Speech and Translate blocks to create simple interactive, multilingual programs. By the end, students will have strengthened their coding skills and built multiple creative Scratch projects.
