Students explore the world of robotics by learning about real-world applications, the history of robotics, and the role of autonomous mobile robots. They gain hands-on experience with Edison by building attachments, constructing Clawbots, and applying the Engineering Design Process to improve their designs. Along the way, they study simple machines and motors, discovering how these components power movement and creativity. Through teamwork and structured challenges, students test their robots in classroom competitions that mirror the Edison Challenge, developing problem solving, strategy, and collaboration skills. By the end of the program, students reflect on their robotics journey, celebrating their progress while identifying areas for future growth.
