In this course, students learn how computational thinking powers both human problem-solving and modern AI systems. Across eight lessons, they practice the four core skills—decomposition, pattern recognition, abstraction, and algorithms—through hands-on challenges and Scratch programming. Students break big problems into smaller parts, spot repeating elements, focus on what matters most, and write clear step-by-step solutions. They apply these skills to build and improve interactive Scratch games, culminating in a final project where they design a polished game experience with a menu screen, power-ups, scoring features, and replay controls—testing, debugging, and explaining how each feature strengthens game play and connects to how AI “thinks” through structured processes.
