About This Activity
This week is all about creating, exploring, learning, and playing in nature in a fun and magical way! Kids will have fun mixing potions - both for fun and function - as we forage for plants that can be used in herbal medicine with teas, tinctures, and poultices. Nature art with a mystical flair, including making magic wands and other fantastical creations, plus other magic-themed games and activities will round out this fun week of exploring nature. Additionally, there will be time each day for unstructured, self-directed learning, play, and exploration of and in the natural world. Note: Participants should be 9 years old by the start of the session in order to participate in this program.
