About This Activity
This visual arts program supports young learners through hands-on exploration of shapes, patterns, and foundational art skills. Using tangrams, geometric forms, Batik-inspired designs, and a variety of media such as painting, drawing, mixed media, printmaking, and sculpture, campers learn how shapes and patterns create meaningful artwork while also building essential skills in observation, composition, technique, and fine-motor development. Through guided lessons, cultural exploration, and creative challenges, campers gain confidence, use professional art vocabulary, and grow as young artists within a collaborative, inspiring environment.
