About This Activity
The National Latin Exam (NLE) is an annual exam taken by Latin students across the country. Rather than being a competition, it is an opportunity for students to test their skills and acknowledge their accomplishments. Students who perform exceptionally well will also be eligible to receive awards and recognition. The exam is not mandatory, but all Latin students are encouraged to try—after all, it’s not only an opportunity but also a way to challenge yourself every year! Students who would like to participate should expect to register for the following exams: 6th grade: Introduction to Latin 7th grade: Beginning Latin 8th grade Intermediate Latin 9th grade: Intermediate Latin Reading Comprehension 10th grade: Advanced Latin Prose 11th grade: Advanced Latin Poetry Exam Date Thursday, March 6th Registration must be complete by February 11th
