Staff advisor: Vidal Smith Email: vidal.smith@basisindependent.com Student Advisors: Pranesh, Akul Dates: Thursday with the first meeting on 9/26 and the last meeting on 5/1 Time: 4:00 PM–5:15 PM Grades: 9–12 Cost: $450 Description: The Electrical Engineering Club is a hands-on club in which students will be able to build circuits, become acquainted with electrical components and concepts, if not already, and have fun testing and showcasing along the way! We want to encourage students to pick up electrical engineering skills through exploration and guided learning, so we will alternate between demonstrations for the club, and splitting off into small groups to work. Most materials necessary to participate will be provided, but students might want to bring laptops in on occasion. If you join, be prepared for a year of interesting projects, and make sure to stay safe!
