Welcome to the exciting world of the Middle School and High School Tennis Club! Our club is designed to provide students with a fantastic opportunity to develop their tennis skills, build a strong foundation in the sport, and foster a sense of teamwork and camaraderie among members. Whether you're a seasoned tennis player or a complete beginner, this club offers an inclusive and fun environment for all. Club Meetings and Schedule: The Tennis Club will meet twice a week to focus on building a solid tennis foundation. These meetings will take place during weekday afternoons, allowing students to participate without conflicting with their regular academic schedule. The emphasis during these sessions will be on learning and practicing essential tennis techniques, such as proper grip, footwork, strokes, and strategies. Experienced coaches will guide the students, helping them refine their skills and grow as tennis players. Additionally, we will organize 1 or 2 weekend meetings each weekend to get out on the court and apply what we've learned during the weekday sessions. These weekend meetings will provide a fantastic opportunity for students to engage in friendly matches, doubles games, and other tennis-related activities. It's not just about practice; it's about having fun while becoming better tennis players! Physical Education (PE) Credit: We understand the importance of encouraging students to engage in physical activities and promoting a healthy lifestyle. Therefore, participants in the Middle School and High School Tennis Club will be eligible to receive PE credit for their active involvement. This credit recognition can serve as an added incentive for students to be a part of the club and invest their time in developing their tennis skills.
