About This Activity
Learn from the nation’s premier coaches and experience tennis in a fun and healthy environment that is exciting for all levels! Whether you are just getting started in tennis, a rising tournament player or even an elite level tournament player, we have the right program for you. All camps are held at the Alfred A. Ring Tennis Complex, one of the nation’s finest tennis facilities, at the University of Florida. The facility features 12 outdoor and 3 indoor courts – perfect for any Florida weather. Each camper receives personal attention, advanced teaching techniques, intensive drill work, and game/match play, all in a fun and competitive environment. We break the campers into small instructional groups of similar age and ability, so each child is working in a group that is commensurate with their experience level. We tailor each program to the level of the players. All players will get a heavy dose of technique and fundamentals, while more advanced players focus on strategy, point building, percentage tennis, etc. ON-COURT FOCUS: • Collegiate style drilling • Focused individual instruction • Team Competition • Groupings: Campers are grouped by age, ability, and experience • Comprehensive instructional program with daily teaching progressions • Small instructional groups to ensure individual attention • Safety prioritized on and off court EQUIPMENT NEEDED: • All campers must bring a tennis racquet, tennis shoes, hat, sunscreen, and a water bottle. FACILITY: • Campers will play on 12 outdoor courts and 3 Indoor Tennis Courts at Florida’s beautiful Alfred A. Ring Tennis Complex.
