Six IN-PERSON Sessions Sep 16, 23, 30, Oct 7, 14, 21 Does the book or short story you’re writing seem a bit blah? Do you struggle trying to bring your characters alive? Fran Stewart will guide you through the process of developing characters who will intrigue your readers. Some of the topics to be covered: aspects of a character, populating your story, relationships between characters, how to introduce a character, and how to get from stereotype to archetype. With in-class writing exercises and opportunities to share your own writing, you’ll grow right along with your soon-to-be-memorable characters. Fran Stewart is the national best-selling author of the ScotShop Mysteries and the Biscuit McKee Mystery Series. She has instructed non-fiction courses for BULLI, such as memoirs-writing and preparing our executors for what they’ll face when we croak. This time around she’ll draw on her extensive fiction-writing experience.
